A vote by residents of the Lake George school district is set for Tuesday on a new school transportation center.
The new facility is to have 15 bays for vehicle maintenance, repair, and storage. Also, the building is to feature updated equipment, as well as infrastructure to accommodate all-electric buses, which the district must start purchasing in 2027, with a total-fleet conversion to electric power by 2035.
