A shooting at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27 in the parking lot of Walmart off state Route 9 in Queensbury prompted the evacuation of customers and closure of the store — and the hospitalization of a male victim. Sun Community News reports a man wearing a hoodie fled the scene in a gray sedan immediately after the incident and that police were working to track down the individual. The victim was shot in the hip. No word on a motive.
