Warren County Department of Workforce Development is promoting two hiring events coming up later this week, at Medline in Glens Falls on Wednesday and Queensbury Union Free School District on Wednesday and Thursday.
In addition, BOCES Employment Training for Adults (ETA) is enrolling through November 18th for its Machine Tool Technology class,and financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
This 500-hour program begins in late November and will provide the skills necessary for someone to become a machinist at one of the many local businesses currently hiring. Interested applicants may qualify for sponsorship through the Warren County Career Center.
