The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) hosted its 6th annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake at Amy’s Park Preserve in North Bolton Oct. 1. This year’s race included 53 competitors aged 7 through 75, and 16 volunteers and NextGen Committee members who helped organize and run the event. The Sun Community News reports the event aims demonstrate the melding of recreational opportunities with land and lake conservation. This year’s race proceeds grossed more than $4,000 and will support the LGLC’s Wiawaka Uplands project.
