A recent surge in COVID-19 infections in Warren County and a spike in hospitalizations locally due to the virus have prompted county Health Services Director Ginelle Jones to issue a warning to take appropriate health-related precautions.
As of last week, the seven-day average of new infections in Warren County increased 63 percent over two weeks earlier, while hospitalizations due to COVID-19 more than doubled during the same time period.
