Lake George Wastewater Treatment Plant Up And Running

The new Village of Lake George Wastewater Treatment Plant is up and running!
Lake George Mayor Robert Blais, Lake George Supervisor Dennis Dickinson were joined Tuesday by Lake George Waterkeeper Chris Navitsky, Eric Siy, Executive Director of Lake George Association, and plant operator Tim Shudt for a ceremonial turning of a valve at the plant.
“The plant is operational, working well and protecting our gorgeous lake,” Blais said.
Work on the exterior of the plant will continue through the spring before the project is complete.
Warren County helped fund the project with $750,000 in payments. The plant is handling about 500,000 gallons of wastewater a day now, and will be able to handle up to 1.75 million gallons per day during peak periods of time.
