Jason Hull, Warrensburg’s fire chief, has been credited with saving the life of a woman who was choking on food in a restaurant in the area of the Thousand Islands. The Sun Community News reports Hull and his girlfriend Beth Hill and her children were in a restaurant when he noticed a woman choking. Hull administered the Heimlich maneuver a number of times until he was able to jar the food loose. The woman was taken for medical treatment.
