The owner of the Howard Johnson Motel on Canada Street in Lake George says he had five feet of water in some rooms during recent flooding. He tells WNYT 15 to 20 rooms had up to five feet of water in them, and most had people in them as the water was rising. He says it couldn’t come at a worse time as this is their busy season and a key time for them to make back money they lost during the pandemic.
