The Warren County Board of Supervisors has declared July 1 “Joan Grishkot Day” in Warren County in memory of our first Warren County Public Health Director, who passed away July 8.
July 1, 1966 was the day Joan started work with Warren County, starting a career of more than 50 years in the local public health community, with Warren County and myriad other agencies. There are plans to plant a tree outside the Public Health Office in Joan’s honor in the coming months, so that her memory lives on.
