State Police in Queensbury recently arrested 19-year-old Faya L. Toure of South Glens Falls, for Reckless Driving, Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment and other counts. Toure is accused of leading troopers on a vehicle chase down State Route 9 in Queensbury on the evening of June 1, 2021. Troopers attempted to stop Toure after he was seen driving a dirt bike without any license plates on the state road. Toure refuse to pull over and a vehicle pursuit was initiated but was called off a short time later. Troopers located Toure on June 17, 2021 as he was dropping the dirt bike off at a storage facility in Moreau. Toure fled on foot upon and was found a short time later by assisting patrols.
