The Village of Lake George has plans to hold an informational meeting in September to get the public’s input on whether the village should allow recreational marijuana sales. The Post Star reports municipalities aren’t forced to go along with the legalized sale of pot in retail shops. The mayor says he has heard from a couple of businesses that want to, and has also heard opposition to the notion.
