A Warrensburg man was arrested on felony charges after he allegedly kicked in a door and illegally entered a local home. Sun Community News reports officials received reports of a naked male inside an occupied dwelling on the grounds of Cronin’s Golf Course at about 4:30 a.m. Sept. 28. Authorities quickly located 41-year-old Wiley E. O’Dell nearby after he unlawfully entered a second residence, which was unoccupied at the time.
Glens Falls Man Has Facebook Page Hijacked
A man from Glens Falls has had his Facebook page hijacked and completely taken over. Whoever did it is using the page to sell phony items in his name. WNYT reports it happened to Ray Agnew, a vice president of Glens Falls Hospital. He gave his Facebook access code to a person he thought was a friend but it turns out he was being scammed, and the scammer immediately took over his page and started posting items for sale – items that don’t exist.
Warren County Sheriffs Offer Veterans Escort To County Line For Special Trip
A group of 37 local veterans was escorted by Warren County Sheriff’s from the Municipal Center to the Warren County line as they left for a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Warren County Sheriff’s posted about the special occasion Friday on Facebook. According to WNYT, the trip was fully funded for by a New York State Senate grant through the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support program.
Search Continues For 9 Year Old Charlotte Sena
A search is ongoing for 9-year-old Charlotte Sena. State Police said she may have been abducted from a campsite at Moreau Lake State Park. She was last seen around 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the area of Loop A, Site 18 at the park. An Amber Alert was sent out Sunday morning. Charlotte is described at 5’1″ tall with blonde hair, weighing about 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs, and a gray bicycle helmet.
Lake George Investing In Brine Supplies
As part of an effort to reduce the private sector’s use of salt, the Lake George Association and the Town of Lake George are joining forces to purchase a new, industrial-sized mixer that will produce a consistent and affordable supply of brine not only the Town and Village but for the private contractors who maintain parking lots and private roads. The Lake George Mirror reports the Lake George Association will contribute $40,000 toward the purchase of the unit.
Whitehall Man Arrested After Police Chase
60 year old Charles W. Wilke from Whitehall was arrested by the Granville State Police this week. The arrest followed a vehicle chase due to a traffic law violation. Wilke ended the pursuit by stopping his vehicle on County Route 12 and tried to flee on foot. Police quickly apprehended him. Upon arrest, the police found controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and an illegal radio device in his possession.
Lake George Hosting Scrabble Tournament

Man Racks Up 15 Arrests In Glens Falls Since Late August
The Glens Falls Police Department reports they have arrested Kenneth Miller, 62, 15 times since August 20. WTEN reports Miller faces an array of charges, including criminal contempt, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, resisting arrest, and criminal impersonation.
GFPD Makes 16 Arrests Stemming From Summer Youth Incidents
Glens Falls Police have arrested 16 juveniles in connection with a series of incidents over the summer where they allegedly assaulted residents. WNYT reports the department made the announcement on its Facebook page on Wednesday morning but is not releasing detailed information because of the age of the suspects. The charges include assault as well as gang assault.
