Health Services staff are monitoring 125 active COVID-19 cases as of Sunday. 121 of these cases involve mild illness.
Vaccination Clinic In Warren County Thursday
Warren County Health Services will hold a vaccination clinic for all eligible populations Thursday afternoon and evening at Warren County Municipal Center, offering the Moderna vaccine. Sign up through a link on the Warren County Facebook page. 250 shots will be administered Thursday, and 250 were administered Tuesday.

Off Duty Trooper Charged In Domestic Incidents In Knox
On March 3, 2021, State Police started an investigation into two separate domestic incidents involving Jonathan Quinn, 42, of Knox. On March 23, State Police charged Quinn with Assault 3rd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation. Quinn, a Trooper with the New York State Police who was off-duty at the time of the incidents, was arraigned in the town of Knox Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on April 7, 2021.

New Report Shows Community Poverty Drops In Area
The Capital Region is New York’s second leading economic development region in reducing its ranks of people in poverty, according to a Center for Economic Growth (CEG) analysis of U.S. Census Bureau five-year estimates. Warren County saw the region’s biggest drop in its population in poverty at -22 percent, Washington County saw a 15% drop. Saratoga County was down 11%, Rensselaer County, down 10%.
Brooklyn Man Busted In Queensbury For Drugs
State Police in Queensbury arrested 37-year-old Saquan Lamont of Brooklyn, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia. State Police stopped Lamont for a traffic infraction as he traveled on I-87 In Queensbury shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. When the Trooper spoke with Lamont, they observed signs of drug use inside the vehicle and a search was conducted. Lamont was found to be in possession of over 11 ounces of crack cocaine, approximately 1.48 ounces of heroin, and drug paraphernalia commonly used for the packaging and sale of controlled substances

Stefanik Introduces American Workforce Recovery Act
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik introduced the American Workforce Recovery Act. Specifically, the bill:
Gives states funding to expand vocational training options for workers and increase remote employment services.
Grants local workforce boards with funds for reskilling workers through individual training accounts and employer-directed training. Allows for flexibility on how displaced workers use their individual training accounts, and Incentivizes businesses to offer work-based training.
