60 year old Charles W. Wilke from Whitehall was arrested by the Granville State Police this week. The arrest followed a vehicle chase due to a traffic law violation. Wilke ended the pursuit by stopping his vehicle on County Route 12 and tried to flee on foot. Police quickly apprehended him. Upon arrest, the police found controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and an illegal radio device in his possession.
