There have been a number of emergencies recently with people falling through ice – and a new tool could help firefighters. WNYT reports the North Queensbury Volunteer Fire Company has a new tool called the ADK 3 in 1. It’s meant to help both ice fishermen and rescuers. Volunteers in North Queensbury say this new rescue tool can save lives in minutes with the way it chops ice and can also be used as an anchor or safety line.
