The boat that was stranded on the Hudson River in Washington County since early September is finally out of there. WNYT reports the boat was stuck on a rock ledge when an out-of-state pilot unfamiliar with the area made a wrong turn.
It took almost a month for the operator, his insurance company, and a boat towing company to work out the logistics of freeing the boat. They finally towed it out Tuesday afternoon.
