State Police in Queensbury responded to a report of a drowning that occurred on the Schroon River in Warrensburg over the weekend. Police say 15-year-old Owen Harrington of Warrensburg, was tubing on the Schroon River when he became dislodged from his tube after striking a downed tree in the waterway. Harrington became submerged in the water during an attempt to get him to shore. Harrington was transported to Glen Falls Hospital where he was declared deceased.
