The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) has permanently protected 30 acres of forested land in the Town of Bolton that includes more than 350 feet of Huddle Brook. Sun Community News reports in addition to providing permanent protection for Huddle Brook and the water quality of Lake George, the land provides important habitat connectivity for wildlife and potential recreational benefits. The property is situated between the 213-acre Twin Pines property protected by the LGLC in 2019.
