A controversial herbicide put in the Lake George water eliminated an invasive species, according to Warren County environmentalists.The chemical ProcellaCor killed water milfoil. The conservation district said a video shows the milfoil plants brown and deteriorating and the native plants thriving. The chemical was applied in June, after pushback and a lawsuit from the public opposing its use.
