Warren County Deploys Bass To Eliminate Goldfish In Pond

Warren County officials got creative when they found themselves struggling to rid a school of goldfish in one of the ponds in the man-made wetlands at Charles Wood Park. Someone apparently dumped an aquarium into the pond, and the goldfish took root. Now largemouth bass are being deployed into the pond to help eliminate the goldfish, which can cause a number of issues as a non-native species in the water.
