Warren County officials have introduced some largemouth bass into one of the ponds in the man-made wetlands at Charles Wood Parkin an effort to control some goldfish that were dumped there from someone’s aquarium and took root. By spring, those fish had grown to 8 to 10 inches and officials did not want them to end up in Lake George which connects to the pond in question. The hope now is the largemouth bass will eat those goldfish and alleviate any potential problems.
