Seven prominent regional bands will perform during the Rockin’ for Ronald festival scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4 in Lake George’s Shepard Park. Sun Community News reports the annual festival raises money for the Krantz Cottage Family Retreat home in Lake George, which serves as a vacation retreat for families of children afflicted with serious illnesses. The Krantz Cottage is operated by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital District.
