Authorities are continuing to investigate a July 31 crash that claimed the life of a Fort Edward man. Wednesday, there was a 911 call reporting a car vs. log truck accident on Route 8. Authorities said Tyler J. Sellingham, 28, of Fort Edward was operating a 2003 Honda Accord eastbound on State Route 8 when crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2025 Peterbilt tractor-trailer head-on. He died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
