It’s Lake George’s biggest party of the year. The Adirondack Independence Music Festival will be at the Festival Commons in Wood Park with nearly two dozen bands August 30 through September 1. The music starts Friday at 1 p.m., noon on Saturday and Sunday, and continues each night through 11 p.m. on two stages. The festival features food, fun and fireworks.
