The Great Meadow Correctional Facility is set to close its doors on November 6th. This means The Town of Fort Ann is set to lose one of its largest employers this November. WNYT reports the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) said that the reason for the closure was because of a staffing shortage.
