POW/MIA Ceremony Held In Lake George

More than 100 people participated in the 55th annual P.O.W./M.I.A. ceremony held June 2 atop Prospect Mountain in the town of Lake George, honoring U.S. soldiers who were held prisoners of war or were declared missing in action. Sun Community News reports veterans, military personnel, civilians, and leather-clad motorcyclists participated in the services, which were officiated by Paul Sears, Commander of North Creek’s American Legion Post 629.
