Christian Maldonado was convicted of One Count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and One Count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree following a jury trial. The indictment, handed up on May 9, 2023, alleged that on or about April 27, 2023, in the area of Lark and Orange Streets in the City of Albany, Maldonado attempted to cause the death of another person, and possessed an illegal, loaded firearm.
