Drivers in Lake George are advised to watch for lane closures beginning later this month. According to WNYT, Route 9 in the area of the Northway overpass will be reduced to a single lane of alternating traffic, starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10. This will last through around Aug. 31. The lane closure is necessary to complete a bridge replacement project.
