Warren County is facing a serious challenge as unprecedented rainfall has taken a toll on its infrastructure, leading to urgent repairs and a state of emergency declaration. Roads such as County Route 11 and Trout Lake Road have been closed, and Lake Luzerne’s Call Street was temporarily reopened for the holiday but is now shut down for culvert work and paving. The local Department of Public Works has already set a schedule for repairs, starting with Trout Lake Road this week.
