The Post Star reports on some Warren County unofficial election results.
Democrat Carrie Black looks to have bested Republican Emily McCabe McGrath in the race for Warren County Clerk. Initial results show Black, also on the Warren County Committed line, with 4,994 votes to Emily McCabe McGrath’s 4,202. The seat was open after longtime clerk Pam Vogel retired.
Supervisors from Glens Falls will include: Jack Diamond, Haley Gilligan, Nancy Turner, Daniel Bruno and Ben Driscoll in wards 1 through five respectively.
Gilligan, a Democrat, handily beat incumbent Peter V. McDevitt, 90 votes to 30 in the race for the Ward 2 Supervisor slot. In Ward 3, Nancy Turner, a Democrat, beat Magen MacDavid 311 to 236 while Democrat Bennet Driscoll took on Republican Nicholas Collins 204 to 90.
In Queensbury, the race for four seats as Supervisor-At-Large shows that Democrat and Conservative Dave Strainer took 3,319 votes. Mike Wild, a Republican, took 3,098 votes. Nathan Etu garnered 2,942, and Brad Magowan took 2,681 to fill the seats. Republican Brady Stark won 2,570 votes. Democrats Robin Larkin won 2,395 and Michael Parwana won 2,173.
