Robert Rivers ischarged with first-degree assault, reckless assault of a child and endangering the welfare of a child. At about 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday an infant was brought to Glens Falls Hospital with suspicious life-threatening injuries. The investigation determined that Rivers’ actions were reckless and caused a severe injury. The infant was transported to Albany Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
