Warrensburg Residents Voice Concerns Over Poultry Plans

At a recent Warrensburg Town Board meeting, about a half-dozen Warrensburg residents expressed opposition to the town’s proposed zoning ordinance amendments which would establish restrictions on raising poultry. Sun Community News reports the proposed law would give the town’s code enforcement officer power to enforce restrictions on how many chickens and other fowl, including ducks, turkeys and quail could be raised on a resident’s property, and how they would have to be contained on one’s premises.
