A Lake George man was arrested recently after being charged with possessing stolen property and resisting arrest. Sun Community News reports authorities spotted a U-Haul van reported stolen, allegedly being driven by Peter M. Morales of Sherill Street in Lake George. When the officer approached Morales, he reportedly took off, headed south on Route 9N toward Lake Luzerne. Authorities initially lost track of the vehicle but found it later, unoccupied, on Dunkley Road in Lake Luzerne. Morales was located a week later at a residence on Dunkley Road, and taken into custody without incident.
