Hague Looks At Short Term Rental Rules

The Town of Hague is looking at short term rental rules. Town Board members say there’s been an increase in short-term rentals in residential zoning districts. The Sun Community News reports, according to Hague Town Councilman Joshua Patchett, a short-term rental is defined as a period of less than 28 days. The proliferation of such rentals has affected the local housing market, causing a reduction in the availability of affordable housing, a trend that has been seen rising all across the country.
