The superintendent of Cambridge Central School District is set to retire. Dr. Douglas Silvernell announced that he will be retiring effective August 31. According to WTEN, Silvernell has worked for the district for the past four years. He helped guide students and staff during the pandemic and the change in the district’s mascot. It has not been announced when a new superintendent will be put in place for the district.
