The elementary and high schools in Warrensburg will have armed law enforcement officers on duty beginning this fall, according to a decision made April 17 by the Warrensburg Central School Board of Education. The Sun Community News reports the school board voted to spend up to $90,000 to fund the positions of two part-time school resource officers (SROs) — one for the elementary school and another for the high school for the 2023-24 school year.
