The quarterly charges for wastewater treatment billed to residences and businesses in the Warrensburg Sewer District have been raised by $25. Sun Community News reports the increase was enacted Oct. 12 in a unanimous vote by the Warrensburg Town board during their monthly meeting. Town Supervisor Kevin Geraghty said the $25 increase was necessary because of the rising expenses of maintenance at the sewer treatment plant and the pending cost of dredging the lagoon.
