A merger is now being negotiated between officials of Greater Glens Falls Transit and the Capital Region Transit Authority. According to officials, the merger would mean expanded services in Warren County. The Sun Community News reports CDTA would provide public transportation that could deliver both workers and tourists from throughout the Capital Region to Lake George, and bus routes might be expanded to serve the northern Warren County towns including Warrensburg, Chestertown and North Creek which now have no public transportation.
