Two Dead After Motorcycle Crash In Lake George

A man and a child are dead, and another man is in critical condition after a speeding motorcycle ran off the road and hit ipedestrians Sunday in Lake George. According to WNYT, It happened around 3:40 p.m. on Route 9 near the Lake George Expedition Park. State police say a motorcycle operated by 33-year-old Anthony Futia of Albany was heading north at a high rate of speed when his motorcycle went off the shoulder and onto a bike path. The motorcycle hit a group of six people. Two of them – 38-year-old James Persons and 8-year-old Quinton Delgoteto, both of Lake George – were killed. Futia suffered life-threatening injuries. He’s in critical condition at Albany Med.
