Fort William Henry is now using augmented reality to take you back in time. According to WNYT the landmark and major cultural destination on the southern shore of Lake George is now open for the season. The new experience features a bird’s eye view of the fort, the entrenched camp and the French firing at the fort itself. You’ll be able to manipulate the augmented reality by downloading an app and moving your smartphone to explore more of the surrounding area.
