Coronavirus cases are surging again locally. Sadly, more people are also dying. WNYT reports Washington County is in the top three of positive test percentages in the state. The county’s positivity rate is around 13%. The county says a 45-year-old man who was not vaccinated has died. They also reported 77 new COVID cases in their Tuesday update, and 20 hospitalizations.
