State Police in Granville arrested 24-year-old Jarod V. Therrien of Whitehall, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia. Troopers also charged 22-year-old Jonathan E. Jurnak of Whitehall, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. State Police stopped Jurnak for series of traffic infractions as he traveled on State Route 4 in the town of Fort Ann at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. A probable cause search revealed that Jurnak was in possession of a clear plastic baggie containing LSD. His passenger, Jarod Therrien, was found to be in possession of approximately 14 grams of cocaine and items consistent with the weighing and packaging of controlled substances.
